Since childhood, L!LA has been captivated by art, music, and performance. Learning the violin at an early age cultivated her musical intuition and classical sense of melody, laying the foundation for a lifelong artistic journey. Her love for music and the expressive art of equestrian vaulting shaped her performance instinct, teaching her to embrace spontaneity, unpredictability, and the thrill of the unplanned — qualities that now define her DJ sets.

Endlessly curious, L!LA explored a broad spectrum of sounds during her teenage years: underground hip-hop, dubstep, and electronic techno, alongside lyrics from Bob Dylan to Oasis, reggae, and beyond. Yet her heart has always beat for warm, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, carrying the joy and abundance of life. A formative chapter in the French Caribbean, immersed in local culture and carnival traditions, cemented her sense of vibrant, diverse, and contagious party spirit — a spirit that now pulses through every performance.

After building her fashion label ArtInMotion, a serendipitous encounter with a Pioneer DJ set during the early Covid season sparked her first experiments with mixing. What began at home parties in Switzerland’s liveliest nightlife districts quickly evolved into a dedication to the electric world of beats and emotional musical storytelling.

In October 2023, L!LA debuted professionally in a house event, curating a melodic, emotionally charged selection spanning deep house, classic house, Afro-house, and beyond. Her Afro-Caribbean rhythmic roots remain a signature element, interwoven with underground textures and hypnotic grooves, creating sets that are immersive, spontaneous, and intimate, yet global in reach.

Fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese — and familiar with Italian, Dutch, and Kreyol — L!LA crafts internationally infused, genre-blending journeys that unite audiences in shared rhythm, energy, and underground sophistication.
